Description Dosing Rates / Product Sizing   Small 8" x 10" treats up to 250 gallons. Large 12" x 15" treats up to 500 gallons. Each mat treats up to 500  gallons for up to six months.  Straw lasts longer in cool water, decomposes faster in warm water.  Replace when bag is 75% empty. Keep straw in pond year round for best overall control. Straw applications can be started at any time of year.  Straw will become effective in 3 to 4 weeks in cool weather and in a week or two in warm weather. USAGE: Place inside of filter box between coarse and fine filter pads. In murky water, remove from filter weekly and hose off any accumulated silt on filter mat.
