FLOATING ISLAND PLANTERS

Single pots with flotation collars make simple yet elegant floating islands in sizes from 5" to 24".

Each of these planters now comes with Island Planting Mix Soil enough to fill that size to the appropriate level.

The following plants do well in the smaller (5" - 9") floating planters. All Floating Island Planters include Island Planter Mix Soil

PROVEN PLANTS FOR SMALL ISLAND GARDENS
Because the 5" and 9" Floating Islands are small they require low growing plants with a creeping habit. Plants that acquire too much height get top heavy and may tip the island. Plants should be true aquatic species or moisture loving.

SUNDIAL ISLAND PLANTERS

Plant a multi-pot floating garden with our Sundial Island Planters.  The 16” Sundial Island Planter is 16” in diameter and comes with (4) 4” pots and (1) 6” pot.  The 36” Sundial Wetland Planter, perfect for growing lotuses and other large plants, comes with (1) 20” pot and (8) 6” pots. All Sundial Planter Floats are 2” thick.  Comes unplanted.
FLOATING SAFE HAVENS

Improve water quality with a Safe Haven.  This ingenious design allows you to grow a living bio-filter right in your pond protected from Koi, turtles, and other plant eaters. Perfect for protecting aquatic plants, either rooted or floating. Safe Havens can also serve as a habitat fish baby fish.  Constructed of Polyethylene and Stainless Steel Components for Long Life.  Does not include plants.
FLOATING PLANT CORRAL

These floating plant collars are designed to keep floating plants from drifting apart in the pond and can be used to increase buoyancy of extra heavy 20” and 24” Island Planters.  Does not include plants.
Floating Island Grow Mix

For your plants, Island Grow Mix provides the proper buoyancy and weight ratio for Island Planters and creates the ideal environment for growing healthy, robust plants.

This mix holds nutrients from the pond water and supplies them to the plants.

For your pond, Island Grow Mix helps remove algae fueling nutrients and provides additional surface areas for beneficial bacteria to colonize, boosting your bio-capacity.

Made up of one part calcined clay and two parts ‘special mix’ potting soil.
