Floating rafts make boosting bio filter capacity beautiful. A great way to grow moisture-loving and aquatic plants in your pond. The plants grow better and help to improve water quality. They cannot be damaged by foraging koi and are impervious to unsightly string algae.

Floating Rafts boost bio capacity several ways:

Plants uptake nutrients from the pond and bind them up in their biomass
The nooks and crannies of the flotation material provides surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize as does the planting media and the plant roots themselves.
The plants grow better and help to improve water quality.

Plants in Floating Rafts cannot be damaged by foraging koi and are impervious to unsightly string algae.
Provide shade and hiding places for fish from Blue Herons
Can be used independent of pond depth or slope.
Rafts provide a safe haven for frogs and a sunning spot for aquatic turtles in the center of the pond.
